Here is a short pregame podcast for your enjoyment. Again, we focus on Standard (sorry Classic and Extended players, I promise we'll get to you!) and give our reactions to MPDC, as well as our predicitions for SPDC. I hope you enjoy the podcast and send us some feedback at podcast@pdcmagic.com!
Meh, you got me wrong. I'll play anything that wins.

Well, I think you basically covered it! ;)
Perhaps SPDC players are more innovative and creative than MPDC? Perhaps the Euro-folk are more into winning with proven decklists? Maybe they just prefer red?
Really, I think the bottom line is, the deck choice and the metagame all comes down to who shows up at the tourney. I would be very surprised to see players like kehm or StiLLiRise pick up mono-green beats. Likewise, you can basically assume that I'll never, ever be piloting MUC. (But someday when it happens, you'll REALLY be surprised!)

Hopefully you can cover about the wide disparity in results between SPDC and MPDC in the postgame podcast. Most noticeably the lack of DDW. Was it just not played like it was at MPDC, taking up 33% of the field?

A scathing verdict on mono-green beats, then!
