Hey all, our latest podcast is up! Jack and I discuss the Esper decks that showed up at MPDC this week, specifically StilliRise's winning list. If you're planning to play at SPDC this week, or even MPDC next week, I'd give this one a listen!

Another great podcast with a lot of valuable content. And the little surprise at the end was really nice!
Polyjak, I've heard Greg's voice echoing a few times, but it wasn't anything severe and thepodcast could be easily listened to. Great piece of work, guys.

Ahh man I wish I had a mic or I would have sit in with you guys. I've been testing the deck a lot and had some tings to say. Oh well, still very informative to listen to alongside MTGO when building my finalized decklist for SPDC today.

Gravedigger: Firstly, the difference between 4 and 5 mana is less relevant when you are running 25 land. Often enough there isn't a creature in your graveyard on turn four. Generally you are playing a gargoyle on turn 4 anyways, so it just provides a larger body. Finally, Strix is the most commonly recurred card and gravedigger is obviously strictly worse then gargoyle there. I would rather have a 3/3 out and a strix in my hand than a 2/2 and strix in play 70% of the time.
Random Thoughts
-unsummon was card #76, and I may have it in there now ;).
-Strix is the new ephemeron
-Negate is strong against burn
-Recumbant bliss saved me more then once when I was only on 3 or 4 life.
-Sentinels are...sanctum gargoyles 5 and 6. You will just have to trust me on this one ;).
If you plan on tinkering with the mana, please don't take out any of the panoramas. You will end up like kage72, of this I am certain.

Not my finest hour. I really don't have all that much insight. Turning to me for advice on WUB card-advantage control is like turning to Bush for advice on... anything.
AND my stupid volume is messed up again. ARGH.
